Circulation: View Your Library Record in CONSULS, PINs, Address Changes, Confidentiality

Viewing Your Library Record

All SCSU library patrons are given access to their circulation records through CONSULS, our online catalog. Library patrons will need a library PIN number and their student I.D. number when viewing their library record.

Your Patron Record shows the Following:

• View items that have been checked out, renewed, or recalled
• View the status of items requested
• View library fines and due dates for items
• Renew books
• Update your e-mail address

Other PIN Library Services:

• Request an intralibrary loan book from Central, Eastern, or Western
• Access Databases and full-text journal articles from off-campus
• Request Interlibrary Loans for books and journal articles

How to Create a PIN (Personal Identification Number)

Information on how to establish a PIN is located from the library's home page at: http://www.library.southernct.edu. Your passwords are confidential and can only be deleted from the Circulation Desk. If you forget your password, please contact the Circulation Desk at (203) 392-5756 and a staff member will delete the password. Once the password is deleted, you need to create a new password.

Reporting a Change of Address

All notices will be sent to the library patron's local or permanent home address. Please notify us, as soon as possible, of any change of address.

Confidentiality

Buley Library will not release personal borrowing information to any individual or organization unless required by law or by University policy.
